Cairo, Luxor to Aswan

Arrive Cairo International and you’ll be met by a tour representative to facilitate your entry and assist in obtaining your entry visa (currently available with $25USD cash upon arrival). You’ll be led to your tour guide and awaiting private transfer to our deluxe hotel in Cairo. Settle in and prepare for an enigmatic Egyptian experience of a lifetime.

Begin with a fun and entertaining dinner cruise on the Nile, and then you’re off to the Giza Pyramids Complex to experience one of the great seven wonders of the world, kiss a legendary Sphinx, ride an honestly tall camel, and view the mummification process in The Valley Temple, before a glimpse at King Tutankhamun’s gold mask and treasures in The Grand Museum.

A short flight to Luxor and board your cruise ship. The wonders for Luxor are found along the East and West Banks of the river, with highlights of temples dedicated to numerous dieties and with such grand structures such as an open-air museum, a granite shrine of Alexander the Great, many elaborate tombs, statues and other dedication in the temples.

Upon sailing into Aswan, marvel at the modern day Aswan High Dam, the exceptional Unfinished Obelisk, the Philae Temple dedicated to the goddess of Love and Beauty, Issis.  The many UNESCO World Heritage sites will be outlined in the detailed itinerary. 

Return to capital city and experience Coptic Cairo with the famous Hanging Church, St George Monastery, and the crypt where the Holy Family had sought refuge when fleeing to Egypt. This is a city within the city, presenting a very different flavor of Cairo.

Lastly, spend the afternoon in the market, have dinner at a landmark restaurant, and immerse yourself into the tea and coffee pastime of today’s Egypt.
